Bonjour!
Our camping represents peace, space and nature, where fun is never far away. The camping is on the border of the Morvan Regional Nature Park, which you can enjoy on foot, by bike or by car. You can also practice various sports, such as climbing and kayaking. Alongside the camping runs the Canal du Nivernais, one of Burgundy’s best-kept secrets. Parallel to the canal is a nearly 200 km long flat and car-free véloroute. At the end of the day you can enjoy a drink or dinner at our bistro, with a beautiful view over the sloping hills.
We hope to welcome you soon at Camping de l’Ardan!
Kind regards,
We like to think outside the box, also with regard to our camping. There is more than enough space, so feel free to find a nice camping pitch.
Don't feel like cooking? We have a cozy bar & bistro with a sunny terrace where you can dine and have a drink. Fresh bread rolls can also be picked up every morning, delivered by the local bakery.
Do you want to go cycling or hiking in nature, or visit one of the authentic French villages? Our camping makes an excellent base for exploring the surrounding area.
Because we think that's important. The sanitary facilities are cleaned daily and checked often. The sanitary building was completely renovated in 2022.
Our camping is actually located on an island, enclosed by the River Ardan and the Canal du Nivernais. So there is plenty of water.
We are always at your service. You can contact us for tips, information or a pleasant conversation any time.
The more than 200 years old and 180 km long Canal du Nivernais attracts many people with its tunnels and the adjacent flat and car-free véloroute.
Visit the 900 meter high mountains and cool down in the amazing streams and lakes. Or visit one of many authentic French villages. Morvan has it all.
A visit to Morvan’s pearl is definitely recommended. The medievel town of Vézelay breaths history, religion and culture.
